As Scotland moves into Phase 2 of recovery, face coverings will be required on all public transport from Monday 22 June - in an effort to support the recovery plan and to reduce the risk of submission.
All passengers, with the exception of under 5s and those who are not able to wear a face covering for specific medical reasons, must follow the new rule and cover their nose and mouth. This does not need to with a mask; a scarf is also acceptable.
The new measure will complement existing measures of physical distancing and good hand hygiene.
